I'm back at the project and a little lost. How do I change DLPF?

Hello, I have a project, where I want to measure angular changes of a vibrating platform. I want to know, what is happening with platform orientation in very short time window of 20 ms, so i want to get as many values in that time as possible. In specification it says, that 8 KHz sampling can be done by gyro. How much of that is actually achievable and how can I do that? How about DMP values, what is max rate of them? (only yaw, pitch roll) Thank you for any help Jernej
