My project requires reading sensor values at 10ms (100Hz). I would also want to configure FIFO to update every 100ms, and send an interrupt so that I could read those values,therefore reading one packet from the FIFO each time. However, I am getting considerable delay in the interrupt.
In the dmpInitialize function, setRate seems to be the parameter deciding the FIFO update rate. The default set Rate is 200Hz, but when I checked the led toggle pin on the oscilloscope, I found that each sample is 15ms apart, instead of the expected 5ms latency.
I also printed the fifoCount, thinking maybe the interrupt is generated after multiple packets (say 3) are written in the FIFO. But fifoCount came out to be packetSize (default 42) and not multiple of it.
I would like to know what is the possible error source & how to get the required interrupt settings.
