DLPF Setting Has No Effect

Hi -

 

I am trying to disable the low pass filter (DLPF). Data sheet says to set DLPF to 0 which results in a rate of 8kHz vs. 1kHz default.

 

I am attempting this through

 

MPU6050_setDLPFMode(0);

 

Also have tried this

MPU6050_DLPF_BW_256;

 

...and changing the .h file like this..

 

#define MPU6050_CFG_DLPF_CFG_BIT    0  //default is 2
 

None of these seem to change the rate from 1kHz to 8kHz.

 

Any suggestions, guidance is greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem (trying to get gyro data as fast as possible).
