Understanding OUTPUT_READABLE_WORLDACCEL values

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

when I run MPU6050_DMP6.ino with OUTPUT_READABLE_WORLDACCEL I get these values (after a while) :

...

aworld    2    -1    2730
aworld    -1    3    2744
aworld    -3    -5    2741
aworld    2    3    2737
aworld    5    1    2743
aworld    -3    1    2740
aworld    -6    0    2737
aworld    -2    1    2737
aworld    4    11    2739
aworld    0    0    2745
aworld    0    4    2739
aworld    0    -9    2729
aworld    8    0    2738
aworld    7    -5    2745
aworld    -1    -2    2736
aworld    0    2    2737
aworld    -2    0    2726
aworld    0    4    2738
aworld    -2    5    2740
aworld    0    14    2737
aworld    -3    0    2734
aworld    2    3    2737
aworld    -6    -3    2741
aworld    -8    2    2742
aworld    -4    6    2744

...

I guess that for x and y axis these small values are milli-g but I don't understand the z axis value scale ?

Thanks for your help

PS : also I would like to add that I get the following message at compilation time ...

~/Developpement/arduino-1.8.2/libraries/MPU6050/MPU6050_6Axis_MotionApps20.h:639:52: warning: left shift count >= width of type
     data[2] = ((packet[24] << 24) + (packet[25] << 16) + (packet[26] << 8) + packet[27]);
